Send and open files

Send files

1. Pick files, paste them, drop them, or choose a folder.
2. The message box holds up to 4 attachments at a time.
3. Send. A tray shows progress, and Try Again resends only the files that did not arrive.

If it doesn't work

• "That file is too large to open here." Try a smaller file. A very large file cannot be previewed. Choose Download if you only need to save it.
• "This export is too large to open here." Download it from the export link instead. See Export your data.
• "That's more files than one upload can hold." Send fewer files at a time. The message names the number.
• "Nothing in that upload could be sent." Check the files and try again.
• "That file couldn't be opened." Try again, or send it in another format.
• Folders, zips, videos and big files cannot be attached in a Space conversation.
