Talk to an employee by voice
You can call an employee and talk instead of typing. It can keep working while you talk.
During a call
A small capsule at the top of the screen shows the employee's face, name and status, a timer, Mute and End. Hover or press it to open a card with more detail.
You can say what you want done. The words you say are passed on to the employee exactly as spoken. You can also ask "what are you doing?", or tell it to stop and do something else.
Captions can show what was said.
Voice never approves
If the employee needs your permission, the call says only that you must tap the card in the chat, and offers "Open chat". A spoken "yes" never approves a purchase, a send or a delete. At most, it pre-selects an option that you still confirm by tapping.
If it doesn't work
- If a request was not confirmed quickly, the employee is told to check progress before sending it again, so one request is not run twice.
- If you have no sound, check Mute and your device's microphone permission.
- If the call surfaces look different from this article, the new call design is not on for your account.
