What Viewers and Editors can do in a Space

Your role in a Space decides what you can change. For the roles, see Roles and access.

Widgets in a Space

• Anyone with access to the Space can see its widgets.
• Editors can pin their own widgets to the Space.
• Viewers cannot move, resize or remove widgets.
• Only a widget's owner runs it live. Other members see it read-only.

A pinned widget is hidden once the person who pinned it leaves the Space.

Get permission to change widgets

1. Ask the Space owner to open Share.
2. Ask them to change your role to Editor from the menu on your row.
3. Reload the Space. See Invite people to a Space.

If it doesn't work

• "You can't change the widgets in this Space." You are a Viewer. Ask the Space owner to make the change.
• If a widget you pinned is gone, check you are still in the Space.
