Roles and access

What you can open or change depends on your role. Each account is its own workspace, and you have a role inside it.

Roles in a Space

  • Owner: manages the Space, its people and its invitations. Only the owner sees open invitations.
  • Editor: works in the Space, and can add their own employees.
  • Viewer: can read, but cannot change anything.

Employees are Editors or Viewers and never Owners. Changing someone to Viewer also removes the employees they added.

Staff-only pages

A few pages, such as the admin console and the feature controls, are for AIWorker4U staff. They are not part of your account, and no setting gives you access to them.

Get access to something

  1. Ask the person who shared it with you to open the Space and choose Share.
  2. They invite the email address you sign in with, as Editor or Viewer.
  3. Open the link while signed in with that email.
  4. If your role is too limited, ask the owner to change it from the menu on your row.

If it doesn't work

  • "You don't have access to this." can also mean you are signed in to a different account. Check the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar. See Use more than one account.
  • "This Space isn't available" means it is archived, removed, or you no longer have access.
  • "Only staff can open this." cannot be fixed from your side. Ask an admin if you need it.
  • "That isn't shared with you." You are a guest of a shared employee. Ask its owner to add it to what guests can use.
  • "Guests can't change the owner's settings or permissions." Ask the owner to make the change.
  • For invitation links, see Join a Space from an invitation.
