Manage your rules
Rules decide what employees may do without asking. Find them in Settings under Employee defaults, in the page called Rules.
Safety guidelines
Nine guidelines each have a control: Never, Ask first or Always allow. The harmful guideline is fixed at Never. Choosing Always allow asks you to confirm first.
Your rules
Each rule is one sentence, such as "Buy on figma.com without asking, up to $150 per purchase." Beneath it you see who it applies to (all employees, one employee or one Space) and when it was last used. Each row has History, Edit and Remove. A rule locked by your admin shows a lock and cannot be changed.
Rules made because you allowed the same thing twice appear under Learned, with the reason.
Add a rule
- Choose Add rule and describe it in plain words.
- Pick who it applies to.
- Check the sentence "I'll read this as". Set a limit for purchases.
- Save.
Try an action
Type an action. The page says whether it runs, asks you, won't run, or hands over to you, and shows the rule that decided.
Undo
Every change shows an Undo toast, and History keeps earlier versions.
If it doesn't work
- Some settings show "Set by your admin". Ask an admin to change them.
- The "Try an action" checker reads English only.
