Approve with a tap
You may see "That needs your tap on the card. Open the card and choose there." Approvals are given by tapping a card in the chat. A spoken yes does not count.
Approve it
- Open the chat and find the card.
- Choose Allow once, Always allow, or Deny on the row.
- "Allow all once" answers every row at once.
For what each button does, see Answer a permission card.
Why a spoken yes is not enough
On a voice call, a spoken "yes" never approves a purchase, a send or a delete. At most it pre-selects an option, and you still tap to confirm. The call shows "Open chat" so you can reach the card.
Content the employee read, such as a web page or an email, can never approve an action either. See What always needs you.
If it doesn't work
- If you cannot find the card, scroll up in the chat.
- A card lapses after 7 days. The step is dropped and the work continues without it.
- If an employee asks again and again, check your rules. See Manage your rules.
