Who can read and change memory
Memory has layers: about you, each employee, each Space, and a company layer. What you can do in a layer depends on your role. For how memory works, see How memory works.
Who can do what
- Your own layer and your own employees: you can read and change them.
- A Space: Viewers can read. Editors can change and undo.
- Company: members can read. Only admins change it and decide what is added.
The company layer exists only where company memory is turned on for the workspace.
Ask for a change
- Open the memory map and find the memory. See Explore your memory map.
- If it is in a Space, ask the owner to make you an Editor. See Roles and access.
- If it is company memory, ask an admin to review it.
If it doesn't work
- "You can read this memory but not change it." Ask its owner to make the change.
- "Only an admin can approve company memory." Ask an admin to review it.
- "Memory isn't available for this account yet." Your employees still work without it. Try again later.
