How credits work

You have one credit balance. Models, voice, computers, video and other add-ons all use it. The balance shows a dollar amount next to it, for example "4,200 credits, about $21".

Two kinds of credits

• Monthly credits come with your plan and reset each month. Unused ones expire.
• Bought credits never expire.

Expiring credits are used first, then bought ones.

See your balance and use

1. Open Settings, then Usage and credits.
2. The top shows your balance. Below are monthly and bought credits.
3. See use by feature and by employee, and a history of grants and charges. Choose Show More for older entries.

Costs are shown for features that have a known price. Anything unpriced is labelled that way. Nothing is guessed.

Your own accounts

Work that runs on your own account or key does not use credits.

If it doesn't work

• "Running Low" appears when you have less than 10% of your monthly credits.
• "Out of Credits" stops work that costs credits. Buy credits, when billing is on, or wait for the monthly reset. See "What to do when you run out".
• Periods follow UTC days.
