How Computer Learner keeps your work private
Computer Learner learns how you work on your Mac and turns what you repeat into skills your employees can run. Private details are removed on your Mac before anything is sent.
Never captured
- Password fields, password managers and banking apps.
- Private browser windows.
- Anything while Computer Learner is paused or off.
Removed on your Mac first
A small privacy model and fixed rules run on your Mac. Passwords, codes, keys, card and bank numbers, and personal details such as emails and phone numbers are replaced with a label like [password] or [email]. In screenshots they are covered. Only the cleaned copy is uploaded.
Checked again when it arrives
Every upload must say how it was cleaned, or it is refused. We then check it again. Anything that was missed is masked or covered, and an upload that fails a safety check is deleted and your Mac stops sending until you turn it on again.
How long it is kept
The cleaned uploads are kept for 7 days. What was learned from them follows "Keep computer history" in Settings, then History. You can delete everything there at any time.
Cost
Learning uses credits, about 250 to 400 on a working day. Set a daily limit in Settings, then Computer Learner. At the limit it pauses until the next day.
