Fix a widget that is stale or broken

What the tile says

• "Updated" with a time: the data is older than expected.
• "Couldn't update": the last picture stays on screen while the tile tries again. It waits longer after each failure, up to 15 minutes.
• "This widget didn't start": choose Try Again.

Tiles stop refreshing while hidden or off screen. They resume when you come back.

Steps

1. Choose Try Again if offered.
2. Open the widget. A tap opens it as a full view.
3. If it still fails, ask the employee that made it to fix it.

Earlier data

Earlier versions of a widget's saved data are kept, the newest 50 for each widget.

If it doesn't work

• Space members who are not the owner see a read-only copy that does not refresh by itself.
