Give an employee a goal
A goal asks an employee to keep going until the work is done, even over several days. It checks its own work before it stops.
Set one
- In the chat message box, type /goal and a title.
- Add "Done when" lines, so it knows what finished means.
- Send. A goal card appears in the chat.
Only one goal can be open per conversation.
What happens
- It keeps working. It may pause and wait, and starts again by itself.
- It closes only when every "Done when" line is shown to be met. A check of the evidence decides.
- When it finishes or gets stuck, you get a card in the chat and one notification.
Controls
The card offers Keep going and Stop goal. Settings has a switch, "Pause at the budget".
If it doesn't work
- Blocked means it hit repeated failures. The card shows the last error.
- Paused at the budget shows "Keep going?". One tap adds one more step to the cap.
- Goals are not offered in group conversations.
