Reading scans and pictures

Employees read text from scanned PDFs and pictures of documents on their own. They also read Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument, RTF, EPUB, HTML and CSV files. Send the file in chat and ask.

• It reads up to 8 scanned pages at a time.
• A page it couldn't read clearly is flagged so you can check the page image.
• There is nothing to turn on and no settings page.

Tools an employee builds for itself

When a job needs something no plugin does, an employee can write a small tool of its own in Python, Node or a shell script, test it, and keep it for later. A saved tool can be shared with all your employees. This is not on for every account yet.

• Building and changing tools happens only in work you are watching, not in routines.
• A tool that sends, spends or changes permissions asks you first.
• There is no settings page for these tools. Ask an employee which tools it has.
